Getting started
Pick the path that matches what you do at the club. Most people only need the first one.
RowingReply to sessions, book recruitment places and give race availability.
- 1Open Home. Your next session is at the top with Going, Can’t attend and Not sure buttons. One tap saves your reply.
- 2A green Confirmed by head coach badge means the plan is agreed. If the plan changes after that, you will see Changed — confirmation required and may be asked to reconfirm.
- 3If you can’t make it, reply Can’t attend. Your place stays on record; you can then propose a substitute, who must accept before a coach approves.
- 4During recruitment, open Recruitment to book places. The page shows how many bookings of each type you have left. When a session is full, join the waiting list; if a place opens you get an offer with a deadline.
- 5For races, answer each racing day (Available, Unavailable or Unsure). Availability is not selection — selected crews are asked separately.
CoxingAccept cox requests and keep your registration record current.
- 1Cox requests appear on Home and in your Inbox. Use Going to accept or Can’t attend if you are unavailable.
- 2A coxed boat cannot be confirmed without a cox, and your verified cox registration must be on record. Submit details under Your profile; club staff verify them.
- 3Confirmation is planning, not a safety clearance: you and the coach still assess conditions before boating.
CoachingAccept assignments, adjust plans and lineups for your sessions, and record attendance.
- 1Accept coaching requests from Home. Sessions you coach show their readiness issues.
- 2With coaching permission you can edit the plan and seats of sessions you are assigned to, approve substitutes, and keep private notes on people.
- 3After a session, open it and choose Record attendance: mark the expected lineup present, change the exceptions, then finalise. Corrections after finalising need a reason.
AdministrationSet up the club, invite staff, create sessions and confirm plans.
- 1In Settings, add terms, locations (with meeting points), boats, and the safety checklist. In Crews, add squads and crews and put people in them with seat preferences.
- 2Invite people from People. A requested role never grants permissions — grant staff access explicitly on each person’s page.
- 3Create sessions from Schedule → New session. Pick a favourite to prefill type, crew, location and duration; date, time, coach and cox are always your explicit choice.
- 4The Home command centre lists what needs attention. Open a session, resolve its issues, then Review and confirm. Any material change afterwards removes the confirmation automatically.
- 5Run recruitment from Recruitment: set the booking window and per-type limits, then publish open-booking sessions in the campaign.
